Update on Remapping the Copilot Key

My last post was not entirely accurate. Turns out, my solution barely worked because the CoPilot key is actually a shortcut for multiple keys! Thank you JustTesting on Eleven Forum for figuring out a real solution.

Still using PowerToys, find the Keyboard Manager utility and select “Remap a shortcut”.

Next, click on the “Add shortcut remapping” button in the new window, then:

1. Click the pen icon, make sure you have toggle the “cascade” switch and hit the CoPilot key
2. Make sure the action is set to “Send Key/Shortcut” and set the key to left control
3. Make sure the target is all apps

That should be all it take to replace your CoPilot key with control.
